I Found a Reason - Cat Power
There isn’t much I can say about Cat Power that hasn’t already been said. I’m a huge fan of The Covers Record, and of course everyone who has seen Juno probably has Sea of Love in their music library. Soothing vocals and soft melodic (I love that word) music, perfect for cold winter nights and a big, puffy blanket.

This is a little something from a project we’ve been cultivating for a little while now. We’re pretty proud of how it’s shaping out.
It’s a double exposure created in Photoshop (not in-camera) of a medium format shot from last winter and a digital shot taken this summer in Cape Cod.

The Siwis are a Berber-speaking group living in the Siwa Oasis. They are mainly based in Egypt. Their language is also called Siwi. The western desert of Egypt is one of the most arid areas of the world, apart from a little rain on the coastal strip. The Siwa are the inhabitants Egypt’s Siwa Oasis, which is also known as Jupiter Ammon. They live in a somewhat compact, walled town and in a number of outlying villages. Although their native language, Siwah, is a Berber dialect, it is not closely related to other Berber languages.
